Delete Your Account
If you connected Money Timeline to a Google account for cloud sync, you can request that account and its cloud-synced data be deleted — whether or not you still have the app installed.
Still have the app? Deleting is faster there: open Settings → Cloud Account → Delete Account. Use this page only if you no longer have the app, or prefer to request deletion by email.
What gets deleted
- Your Money Timeline Firebase Authentication account
- Your cloud-synced transactions
- Your cloud-synced people
- Your cloud-synced contexts
- Any other account-scoped cloud data associated with that account
What does not automatically get deleted
- Data stored locally on your device
- Any JSON/CSV files you exported
- Any copies you made outside Money Timeline
Important
Deleting your Money Timeline account removes the cloud account and cloud-synced data. Data stored locally on your device remains unless you separately delete it or uninstall/clear the app.
How to request deletion
Email project.nitesh@gmail.com from the same email address associated with the Google account you used to sign in to Money Timeline, and ask for your account and cloud-synced data to be deleted. Sending from that address is how we confirm the request is actually yours — we can’t act on a deletion request for an account whose email we can’t verify this way.
Request deletion by email
project.nitesh@gmail.comWhat happens next
Money Timeline is built by one person, and deletion requests are verified and processed manually rather than by an automated system. Once we’ve confirmed the request came from the account’s own email address, we’ll perform the same deletion the app itself does — removing the Firestore data and the Firebase Authentication account — and reply to confirm once it’s done. This is usually handled within a few business days.
